Training Safety

Home gym equipment can cause real injuries when it is misused or poorly maintained. Check the maximum weight and user limits for every bench, dumbbell set and treadmill before use, and never exceed them. Inspect bands for nicks and thinning, anchor them only to a solid closed door on the hinge side, and keep your face out of the line of pull. Treadmills and walking pads should be used with the safety key clipped on, kept away from children and pets, unplugged when not in use, and run on a level surface with clearance behind the belt.
